I never thought I’d still be breastfeeding my Raven for more than 2 years now, specially after how I failed with my 2 older kids.

But yes, after 28 months, we are still at it. Raven is the happiest whenever I don’t have work and at home since he gets to latch on demand.

I can say that my breastfeeding journey this time around is a success but it is not without challenge. Work and home life has been stressful at times. And because of stress, I forgot to eat healthy that made me sickly and ultimately affected by milk output.
I still drink a lot of water and whenever I can, eat soups with malunggay. Also, I swore by the ‘powers’ of malunggay which helped boost and maintain my milk supply when I first started breastfeeding Raven. Even made by own juice before by boiling its leaves. It is time consuming though and unfortunately work and life has been demanding lately.

Luckily, I was sent a box of M2 Concentrated Tea Drink. This is made of malunggay, okra and ginger (luya) — all of the good stuff. Before trying it out, I read more about it and discovered that it is packed with powerful nutrients, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron, potassium and has been proven to significantly improve the amount of milk of nursing mothers. What I also appreciate is that malunggay, okra and ginger are also low calorie vegetables that are excellent sources of calcium and healthy anti-oxidants that are important to both us moms and our babies.

HOW TO PREPARE M2 MALUNGGAY TEA DRINK

This ready to drink beverage can be consumed hot or cold. I prefer to drink it cold lalo na ngayon that summer is approaching and sobrang init na. Since it is concentrated, you’ll only need to put 4 tablespoon of to a cup of water. I then squeeze in calamansi and add ice. Tastes like iced tea, cool and refreshing!

While at work, a glass of iced M2 Malunggay Tea Drink plus crackers helps with my hunger pangs. Lalo na us nursing moms, lagi talagang gutom 🙂

VERDICT

I’ve been drinking M2 Malunggay Iced Tea for 2 weeks now and I can definitely say that its a must-have for breastfeeding moms. It effectively increased by milk supply. I don’t express milk anymore but since drinking this, I needed to hand express again since my breast felt full even when I’m in the office. I’m slowly building my milk stash again!

I’ve also read reviews where long time drinkers of M2 Tea Drink noticed that their skin became smoother. Haven’t noticed anything yet but I’m looking forward to it!

As I mentioned in my IG post, as M2 Tea Drink is made up of natural vitamins and minerals it’s a perfect daily supplements not only for breastfeeding moms like myself but the family as well lalo na for kids. Imagine it has malunggay, okra and ginger — it’s like them drinking their veggies!

If you wanted to try it for yourself, M2 Malunggay Tea Drink is available in all Robinsons Supermarket and Andoks Manok stalls.
